Testimonials

"...  It is difficult to know or work with Stephanie without becoming her friend, because of her generosity and warmth as a person, and her contagious optimism.  About a year after she took the investment management class, one day in conversation she brought up the idea of assembling some friends from Wharton ... and start a hedge fund company.  Initially such an idea might seem premature from someone this young and inexperienced in the investment community.  But I was deeply impressed by the confidence, optimism and entrepreneurship that Stephanie has.  This is not merely the erratic daydream of a young person; she has a track record of being entrepreneurial...  I will not be surprised at all if one day Stephanie has a successful fund company or any other type of business of her own."  --Lily F.

"...  She is modest about her own superb talents, respectful of the opinions of her classmates, and deeply appreciative of the efforts of those around her, giving encouragement to her peers.  Her quiet perseverance, determination, and charm have made her a natural leader.  Stephanie took the initiative in establishing a fencing club here at our school, gathering many students to share her passion for this sport, and even fund-raising to ensure that it would happen at a time when our budget was far too tight, and she led it to its first citywide competitions just two years later..."  --Dan R.

"I've been putting off writing this testimonial, because it's difficult to sum up what a great friend Stephanie is in only 1000 characters. We've known each other for more than half of our lives now, and she is definitely a bestest friend ever (and not only because she has the coolest apartment in Manhattan! :oP) Every time we meet, it's an all night gab and laugh fest. Unfortunately we are in different cities for most of the year because of school, so when we get together, we both start talking fast because theres so much to say! We laugh so hard and talk so fast that I think other people have a hard time understanding us. Steph is the most supportive friend you could ever ask for, and that is only one of the many, many qualities I admire and value in her. She is a go-getter. While other people lie around and wonder "what if? she dreams big, and then makes her dream a reality. I know this girl is going places, and will do great things in her life. Thanks Steph, for everything."  --Evelyn K.

"Legend has it that Stephanie ... has the largest closet in the world.  Anyone who is anyone knows that this girl is peculiar.  Born the daughter of an artist and architect, her beginnings gave little indication of the eclectic person that she would become.  Rumor has it that she hasn't repeated an outfit since 7th grade.  Her ensembles include a variety of styles from various decades of the 20th century.  Stephanie dresses like a work of art -- sometimes funky, other times mellow, and occasionally, she might be caught in something almost normal... almost.

"In addtion to the exotic sense of style, everyone has at one point or another wondered about that hair.  She's got the longest hair in the grade, and with the exception of Miss Schiff, probably the longest hair in the school.   Stephanie has a habit of sticking one chopstick through her hair to hold it up in a bun.  There have been reports of people getting their eyes poked out with the turn of Steph's head.  Those around her must be alert at all moments lest her chopstick decapitate them or blind them.  Aside from her style and her dangerous hairpiece, Stephanie is known for her creative flair, that of which she exhibits as the photo editor of Witness.  She's hip, cool, mellow, and dangerously creative.  Always open to new ideas, this original chick would make the perfect photo editor for the second consecutive year."
